Costco’s auto program is horrible and deceptive, but the tire center is fantastic. The prices and service are excellent. Far superior to the Walton family businesses at Walmart and Sam’s Club. I’ve tried all three and Costco is superior in every way when it comes to tires and tire service.

I had a scheduled appointment. Tire center was helping others before me. When I received my car back there was white stuff all over the new tires and my rims. When I asked the technician what it was he told me lube. His answe was it was a nice day for a car wash. I had just washed it the day prior.

Don't know why Costco Tire is so much different than the rest of Costco, but I have only had terrible experiences with them with my most recent, and only, tire purchase. Lug nuts were overtightened, shearing the studs in the wheel hub and two came off on a road trip. Most recently went to get rotation and balancing, and they couldn't "get the lug nut loosened" and said we'd have to go to another tire shop. But they decided to rotate the other three, which I can't believe. How do you properly rotate only three tires? I will not be purchasing tires from Costco again.
