Great path, but soooo crowded on weekends. I prefer to walk there on weekday mornings for sure!

Need better access from the street above like a ramp.

Kayaking is allowed on the tidal Schuylkill River. There are two public docks where you can put in your kayak - one near Walnut Street and the other at Bartram's Garden. More info is here: https://www.schuylkillbanks.org/activities/water-sports.
No panic table. Bring blanket or chair. They do have bench spread out different location
Yeah like, you can!
Hi Philip, Schuylkill Banks is currently four miles long in three disconnected sections.
I believe one is cat fish.
In addition to what was already suggested, you can get food at Cosmic Cafe, which is on the trail at Lloyd Hall/Boathouse Row. Also, there is Good Karma Cafe, which is about 450 feet from the trail at 2319 Walnut Street - take the stairs on the north side of the Walnut Street Bridge, then head east/toward Center City and you will see the cafe on the north side of the street. And further down at South Street is the Waterfront Gourmet Cafe & Deli, which is about 50 feet from the trail in the CHOP Roberts Center - take the stairs and bridge that go over the railroad tracks that lead you to the base of the CHOP building and you will see the cafe. This cafe has nice views of the trail and river.
I would say fairly safe although the trail's biggest crime deterrent--tons of other people--is not present at night. Though you will see a fairly steady stream of bikers and joggers after sunset. There are security cameras (not monitored 24 hour, help locator signs to key in your location on the trail to a 911 dispatcher. There are also several outlets (stairwells) where you can get to street grade in the Center City section should you feel the need to exit the trail. So, I would say the trail is safe if you're alert and use your best judgment.
Hi Warren, The Schuylkill Banks' website describes all of the free (and paid) parking areas for the Center City, Grays Ferry Crescent and Bartram's Mile trail segments. Once you get to the home page, click on "Parking," which is under the "Trail Map" and "Plan Your Visit" sections. Have a nice time out on the trail!
You need a PA fresh water license
You can fish there but finding parking is ridiculous.
Hi Jorge, Hidden River Outfitters has guided kayak tours that launch from the Walnut Street Dock through September. Some tours are already sold out, but there are still some kayaks available on the September 23rd and 29th tours. More info is here: https://www.schuylkillbanks.org/events/kayak-tours. There are not individual kayak rentals available from the Walnut Street Dock, but you can rent a paddle boat from the Bartram's Garden Dock: https://bartramsgarden.org/what-to-do/on-the-river/. Have a great time out on the river!
They have free Yoga at the Schuylkill Bank at Spruce Street
It's not free if you need a fishing license you can go to Walmart and get your fishing license for $26 and come on down and let's go fishing!!
There is street parking, but you can find some parking garages not very far.
