Lots to do in downtown. Usually a parking spot available on the north side of the park. Helpful information desk, with clean public restroom. Would enjoy seeing more live music or events on the stage.

Playground is small. No swings, which is a bit disappointing. The grass and large trees are ideal for a park environment. Too bad most of the shade is overrun by homelessness, which leads to too much litter despite trash cans being everywhere… Really beautiful park, public art, sculptures, and planters. Great location in the center of downtown Colorado Springs too. The splash pad was a lot of fun on this warm summer day as well!

Love coming here everytime I'm downtown. Plenty of spaces that you can relax at. The playground and benches are clean. The water feature here is nifty and a great place to take your kids. Lots of parking spaces that isn't hard to get. Year round place.

Nice little park right near downtown! The park was hosting an ice skating rink with warming lanterns, etc. There were toys for kids to play on, and plenty of seating. Parking was metered, yet easy to find during my visit. Easy access to shops and plenty of eateries!

you just can't be in the park usually after 11pm. There is a nice playground area & a concert stage{has shows pretty regular}. @ Donna Crowder & Jason Manley please don't be talking down about the homeless. They are not all bad. I was homeless for a few years after hurricanes Francis, Charlie & Jean in Orlando the year before Katrina. Got FEMA rental relocation money & had to come back to Colorado & be homeless untill my disabiliy came in. A lot of the homeless in the Springs are veterens that cannot afford housing. I do not want to sound mean but stereotyping can be painful & hurtful.
Unsure, they may have decided not to open today.
I believe the children fountain only runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
They are putting in a whole new look to park..no plans posted...there is some new art
No There's no perminant ice rink yet. What was the ice rink in the winter is dismantled and is now just grass.
Park has regular park schedule. It generally closes at 10pm, but there is no gate to prevent you of entering
No, the park is downtown, across from Palmer High School
Good question.. maybe he spent time in the African savanna?
This is a funny place to post this concern. You should contact the city about this
When the rink is open, there is skates you can rent.
Yes they do! I did ice skating last year and it was a lot of fun!
If it is just you two and the pastor you wont need a permit. Anything over that you'll need a permit to rent part of the park out.
