Bad customer service and, more importantly, scary medical service. This is the first Google review I have ever left but I feel compelled to share my experience out of concern for other potential patients. I was referred to Dr. Warren by my primary for a sinus issue. Every time I called the office I was on hold a minimum of 20 minutes before the receptionist picked up. I saw Dr. Warren three times. At each visit he gave me conflicting information and appeared more interested in selling me unnecessary procedures than addressing the issue I was there for. He was bizarrely animated and dismissive of my symptoms. At the same time he couldn't stop touting the benefits of a procedure that he himself had had done which had nothing to do with why I was there. He sprayed something up my nose each time I was in the office without explaining what it was or why he was doing it. Because he sprayed it at the end of the appointments, I suspect he did it to bill for the procedure rather than to assist in his examination. A scan--which he said would probably be useless but nevertheless told me to get--revealed a problem requiring surgery in area next to my brain. When I asked Dr. Warren how many of these particular surgeries he'd performed, he responded "a number." I then asked "WHAT number," and he responded "10 to 12." I have learned that this is an extremely low number for a relatively common surgery for an experienced ENT surgeon, which Dr. Warren claims to be. I found another doctor who is competent and trustworthy. I'm convinced that I dodged a bullet. I would not trust Dr. Warren to perform any surgery and I would never recommend Dr. Warren or his office.

It seems like I've had a similar bad experience as many, as indicated by the recent reviews. I won't speak to my surgery as I have not yet fully recovered. I will however speak of my experience within the office. I scheduled surgery with Dr. Morissey in late May. Before my surgery my appointments were moved twice with very little notice. I then had my surgery successfully and started my post operative treatment. During one of my visits I was incorrectly billed for a copay. I was told they had no recourse to offer me except to wait for their Billing Manager "Ranae". I have been to the office in person twice since they misbilled me. Both times Ranae was working from home and unavailable. All email communication went unanswered and no information was given to me except to wait for Ranae. On top of everything my most recent appointment was moved suddenly as well. I'm sure the receptionists are doing everything they can, however there appears to be systemic mismanagement of this office. I have initiated a chargeback in an attempt to get my money back as I do not trust them to be competent. If this gets anyone's attention higher up in the company, just know that this was entirely preventable by providing your staff with the tools they need to succeed, as well as hiring competent employees.

Dr. Maschka is stellar. He addressed all my of my concerns and provided excellent care in a timely manner. His knowledge and expertise gave me great comfort. The audiologist actually made my hearing test fun and the office staff are friendly and helpful. Boulder Valley ENT website states that, "We take of people", and they certain do. Thank you.

DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE! Dr. Morrisy is not a doctor who cares about helping people so much as helping his bottom line. He kept me waiting 25 minutes, spent 5 minutes not listening to me, actually LAUGHED when I told him I was in pain, and then wanted to do a more expensive and invasive procedure, so he could verify what I was telling him, not because it would benefit me or offer alternatives to surgery but because he DID NOT BELIEVE what I was telling him!!!!!!!!!!!! This is barbaric `blood letting' doctoring that should be stopped. And the financial- I've never encountered a doctors office that took a lot of money up front and said we'll bill you later??????????? Find a place that actually wants to help you more than reach into your bank account. Be a strong and informed advocate for your health and do not let the doctors bully you into doing unnecessary, expensive procedures that don't help you and can do harm.

Questions & Answers

Do you take Kaiser?

Hi Deb, Kaiser is able to refer patients to us. You would definitely want to have a referral in place. It could be that they will want you to see a physician that works directly for Kaiser. I hope this helps. Regards, David
