It’s a decent convention center. A little rough around the edges and could be kept a little nicer. There was random duck tape on the floor, chipped stairs and lights out. The lights were also pretty dim for certain expos that emphasize details. The setup was very relaxed, but could have been nicer from a vendor perspective.

The carpet throughout the whole place needs to be replaced!! Tripping hazard!!

It was not up to my expectations. The carpet was creased in some places. Water started dripping from the ceiling. The food was really not good. The chicken was not cooked and everything was done in a hurry...

It was healthz.

There are many. Marriot, Radisson, etc. Just search Google near the Center and you will find many options.
Yes ,take the green line to the opera house .get off there and walk across the street, walk straight down towards the convention center and the hotel will be right after the convention center .
Salt palace covers 3 blocks, look at Google maps to see what hotels are closer to your convention.
The Salt Palace is located right in the middle of downtown which always has police patrolling, the convention center its self has a great security team. Based on past years there is always a whole team of police officers assigned to fanx itself as well. I feel perfectly safe attending, hope this helps!
10 dollars
Nobody that IATSE built a stage for...whoever it was must have been a small act since it wasn't on our calendar or it was kept clandestine by the corrupt upper echelon. Who was it?
EventX and Thrive foundation still coming this year!
Location and amenities and walking distance to a store or restaurant!
Free parking on the streets at meters after 6:00 pm and on weekends. Otherwise, none to speak of.
I use Google Maps. There is an entrance on South Temple and another one on 100 West. The main entrance is on the corner of 100 West and 200 South.
You can usually fit up to 200 chairs in each room plus presentation technology, so 600 or so?
While we were there I did not see any lockers, everyone had backpacks and stuff with them, my suggestion would be to contact the convention office and double check
It varys depending on demand and what is happening at the salt palace and nearby. From what I've seen it is usually around $12
No, we do NOT have a box office. FanX will setup their own ticket selling areas when they are on-site for the event. You will need to contact FanX for any other information regarding ticketing. https://fanxsaltlake.com/tickets/
Not the world wide association, but the local chapter of relics and false idols .
Trax or Lyft/Uber would be my choice for a good sized event. Really helped for FanX convention. Easier than parking, not necessarily cheaper.
There is a public lot on the northeast corner for $5. There is also a parking gargage on the west side of the center. There is limited handicapped parking on the northside. There is street parking all the way around but those are hit ot miss.
As far as I know no they can't. If you need to make sure contact them personally.
It is just under a mile. 0.8 of a mile according to Google maps. That is about a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive.
Please contact the Salt Palace via the Salt Lake County website.
There are at least three or four I think the Holiday Inn is the closest.
It should say in your ticket
Marriot at City Creek, Hotel Monaco, Holiday Inn Express & Hilton Salt Lake City Center. They all surround the convention center and are within block or less of one of the entrances. Radisson Hotel looks closer than it is, but you have to walk around the block more than a block in order to reach an entrance, but still quite doable.
There's no parking at the Convention Center unless you're a vendor/employee/performer, so you have to park in a parking garage/lot/the mall nearby.
It's directly across the street. There is an entrance 1 block south(100 S West Temple St), and another 2 blocks south (200 S West Temple St).
