Very fun and off grid, definitely a great stroll and fun especially if you search out the smaller of the two hot springs which is 100ft south along a well overgrown path!

Good mud, chill in the evening, bubbles on toes, windy and protected from the sound of the city. Was clean and well loved. Please respect it and share the space.

There's a bathroom by the parking lot, but it's only open half the year (April to October)
Inlet Park closes at 10 PM, but I don't think anybody is out there at night enforcing curfew.
These bigger problem is May flies. They look just like mosquitos but are more of a cream color and they don't "bite" like mosquitos. Some years they are really bad and others they aren't. Youh can also spray for them and ut helps but does not completely solve the problem.
It was warm enough in the winter that our kids (ranging from 5 years old to 2 years old) kept warm in the springs. It's not the shortest walk from the parking lot so dress in warm layers you can peel off when you get to the spring. Also, bring a plastic garbage bag you can store towels or layers of warm clothes in when you get into the water since it's kind of muddy.
Its way too long if you are worried about a "hike." Its best to goto a swimming pool where you can enjoy not hiking and crowds.
There is a trail walk about a mile long from the parking lot, but it’s not a hike
It's not more than a few feet deep throughout, and it's pretty uniform. Depth is highly dependent on the season.
No. It smells bad.
Its never stopped me.
Yes. It's a little bit of a walk but yes.
