Very nice county recreation center. Indoor and outdoor pools ( in season). Beautiful views of the valley from the facilities.

If I could give a zero to this place I certainly would. We’ve booked my son's 13th birthday party, and we’ve paid the fee to use their room two weeks ago. For our surprise when we got there today to have the bday party the pools were closed. No one, not even the manager had wether the consideration, or the competence to call us in advance to inform us about that so my husband and I had to plan something last minute. We’ve asked to the two receptionists for the manager to give us a call but she never did. Draper Recreation Center has caused to us a tremendous headache and frustration. We’ll never coming back.

The indoor pool was ridiculously cold. My young son had purple hands and lips after being in the water for a few minutes. We opted to walk out about 10 minutes after we came due to the cold water. I did ask if it was typical for it to be that cold, and the few staff members I did ask mentioned that it is a set temperature and they aren’t willing to change it. The AC is blasting in the changing room area, making it very cold to change after swimming. They should consider the people they serve when setting the temperature. Look at the other posts of people complaining of the temperature of the indoor pool and adjust accordingly. We will be going back to Herriman Req center instead, where the pool is more appropriately heated.
