The phone line is all automated. I wanted to let someone know that y’all’s popcorn went bad or something, because me and my daughter got a bad tummy ache and ate feeling a bit quezy . But, this review will have to do. The seats reminded me of how the layout of theaters “used to be.” I am sad to also add that they were uncomfortable, however. This was the nearest screening for “Marcel the Shell.” Im glad we were able to view this independent film. I do appreciate the parking-voucher validation, however. The workers were polite which is a plus. Overall, besides the popcorn upsetting our tummies, and not being able to reach anyone by phone- it was a good experience.

Great film selection. Good food and drink options. Easy check-in, especially when you buy the tickets online. Screens and sound quality were excellent. Parking in the area is free on Saturday!

Quaint and lovely movie theater with Delicious popcorn!! Some People have complain about their seats being uncomfortable, but I think to them I say they are lazy and should probably find themselves a stronger spine that can support their bodies because they are weak. Get a grip!

Such a great place. This is an independent theatre, so don’t come expecting a megaplex or Cinemark. They do play standard films, but they also play artsy fartsy indie films that are awesome! The only theatre that I’ll get concessions at, cause they have the best ones and because it’s supports em. Support Salt Lake City film society!

the theater will validate your parking for 3 hours in the building to the east, and parking is absolutely free on Sundays!
I saw Blaze here which was practically all music and performances. I thought the sound in the theater was perfect. Very clean sound.
They don't accept fandango here.
I didn't see a sign posting about hiring, but I imagine you could call or walk in to find out. They are a great place and would be a nice place to work
Not at this time. I'm going to see JoJo Rabbit though.
You would have to check their website to see the movies that they're playing
Sorry! Thursday was the last day.
Sadly no. Thank you so much for checking with us! You’re wonderful.
You’re the best judge of whether that will work well. You’re welcome to bring him. We trust you’ll keep your fellow patrons’ comfort in mind. Enjoy the show!
Not that I have seen. I have seen foreign films with English subtitles
How long each film plays is different for each one, depending on how much money they pull in, ranging from one week to months on end. According to Indiewire, The Mustang made less than than $20,000 per theatre on average this week across it's limited release, which is the typical threshold for a success. I'd bet it'll last at least a month, but if you're interested in catching it I wouldn't wait more than a couple weeks just to be safe.
We sure hope so! We haven't heard of a date for it yet. You can keep an eye on our coming soon list here: https://www.saltlakefilmsociety.org/now-playing/coming-soon. Are you signed up for our weekly email? It's another way to keep up with us. We send one email per week with what's opening, what's about to leave, and any special events we have. You can sign up on our website by scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Hi! The Broadway has a captioning device for all movies shown. I get a captioning device every time I see a movie there for my deaf boyfriend and it works really well! The only exception is if the movie does not have captions, like if it's a broadcasted live event, then the Broadway obviously does not add their own captions. But 99% of the film's I've seen at the Broadway throughout my years of going have had captioning. all you have to do is ask for the device at the concession stand and they will set everything up for you. Enjoy!
Yes! Now you have all information!! Can early and eat something!! Good and delicious!!
You don't have to be a member and the movie is open for everyone, but if you are 21 years old or younger, you get in for free.
Hello Janet, Tea with Dames will open Friday, October 19. Thanks for asking. And thanks to David for chiming in!
Hello Brantson, As a non-profit community arts organization we are unable to offer $5 Tuesday screenings. We do, however, offer a free screening every Tuesday for people 21 and under through our School Night Film Series. Next week (October 9) it's Beetlejuice, 7 pm at the Broadway. Thanks for your question.
No. Our open caption films only run on Tuesdays. Today's/this week's is Leave No Trace at 7:15.
Yes! There are spots in the parking garage east of our building (3 hours free with validation) and there are a few street spots out front as well for handicap permitted cars.
I believe it opens on the 11th this month

You can look that up on the broadways website
Your can buy tickets online and in person at the theater. There is a service fee for online ticket purchases, like at many theaters.
Look up Broadway Theater SLC and it should pop up.
