Fun bar with great live jazz music on Sundays. Lots of talented people there but still a relaxing atmosphere. The food is pretty good, I like that they have veg taco options and cactus. I’m from TX so the Mexican food is not my style but it’s not bad. The drinks are great. They make their own grapefruit juice and it’s legit! Definitely try the grapefruit juice, it kinda works with the jazz vibe somehow.

Fine dining. Room actually looks like a subway station. Busy, noisy, delightful. Excellent service, excellent food. Steak is SO much better than Peter Luger. Drinks were wonderful, as well as the dessert.

It's been there as a restaurant at least since 2004. Wolfgang Zwiener started at Peter Luger's and has been throwing steaks on the grill for over 40 years. The Vanderbilt Hotel had the current building built in a tribute to Terra Cotta design, about 1912 - 1913.
