Here at Utah Mountain Furniture, we build all of our furniture right here in Utah using solid wood pine, reclaimed barnwood, alder, maple, aspen as well as other species of woods. We are one of the few manufacturers left that builds with solid wood. Having said that, there are two exceptions on a piece of furniture where we will use a piece of mahogany plywood instead. The first is on the drawer bottoms and the second is on the back that is usually pushed up against the wall where it will not be seen nor touched. To be sure, we can use solid wood everywhere, but in order to save money as well as weight, we use plywood in these two spots.

Absolutely! Anything from stick figure drawings to full rendered artwork, we can work with you to bring your idea to life. We will also review the design to ensure we have a workable plan and can offer design alternatives if requested. Maple, Pine, Alder, Aspen, Reclaimed Barnwood? We can work with an array of different wood species to make your piece perfect for you. We Also have a large variety of stain colors to choose from as well as finish textures.
