I brought my prescription from my private ophthalmologist to the Old Post Road Visionworks in Edison. I was “greeted” by Cliff, and stated I was not familiar with the companies process. I handed Cliff my prescription and he was confounded that my prescription was written in the manner it was. I didn’t write it, and had it filled at a Costco without issue. He kept on repeating the missing components and stated he was not confident about the Rx details as it was written but would fill it if I wanted with a note on file just in case it was wrong so they wouldn’t be responsible. I tried to inquire about scheduling an exam but he was abrupt, disgruntled and unhappy about the dialogue exchange. I ended the exchange since it was not a pleasant experience and incidentally left my insurance card. He brought it outside and set it in the window sill for it to blow in the wind. This was a terrible experience. As a health care professional who has be working with the public for 30+ years, this is not how you speak to people in general, let alone in a place of business where you are there to sell a product to support a persons quality of life. It is unfortunate that my insurance uses visionworks. I’ll attempt another location and hope the experience is a positive one and I can get my glasses!!

The customer service is not great at all. BE SURE TO ASK FOR SAMPLE PRODUCTS. I was getting fitted for contacts and their systems were down. I noticed another fellow contact wearer was getting fitted, he left with a few goodies to help him in the contract process: a sample size disinfecting solution, a pamphlet on contacts, and extra contact holder. A few weeks later I came back to pick up my order. 1st they couldn't find my order. When it was finally found, the young lady asked me if I wanted a bag. I think she may have thought I wanted to walk out with them in my pocket. Who knows? I notice she didn't offer me the bag that I saw offered to the young man a few weeks prior. I politely asked the young lady if there were sample solutions she could give me. Lol! (Sometimes it's good to ask questions I already know the answer too, it helps weed out who to trust.) Needless to say, her voice became high pitched and overly friendly. Lol! She gave me the same kind of bag the gentleman got the previous week.

It should be lower than 1 start. This place is trash starting with the workers. Had me on hold over 40 min just to tell me I had to go in they couldn’t do it Over the phone

Hi Stephen Serieux. I don't want to tell a lie, but I believe you can. I made an appt to be safe. They're really great with time, not too many people, the contacts or frames came in about 3 days! I would make an appt.😉
