Blue Purl is one of the best retail stores I’ve ever been in. The ladies there are expert, experienced knitters, crocheters etc. who are also the nicest, most helpful folks as well. I am a newer knitter and have attended their great classes but more often visit for help reading patterns or fixing mistakes. They are patient and fun to work with. The Blue Purl is the best! I love those ladies!

Such a great place! Awesome yarn, of course, plus needles and buttons and patterns and books and such. But the people are so helpful and friendly and supportive. They helped me with picking the right yarn for a pattern and while I was there, I saw them work with every patron there. Great for beginners through experts. I love online shopping, but seeing and feeling yarn and being able to ask questions and get helpful answers is just fantastic.

The ladies here are so incredibly helpful and kind! They have a wide selection of fine yarns and a ton of hand dyed options to choose from as well. Their prices are competitive and they have great knowledge of the yarns and issues you may find when creating. I mentioned to them how I was new to the area and normally practice ceramics, but due to no studio have switched to yarn for a while. They told me about a local ceramic studio and even wound my skeins into balls while I went and chatted with the ceramic studio manager! I will definitely be coming back to the Blue Purl and look forward to chatting with the kind ladies again!
