If you like visually stunning glazed ceramics and glass art this is the museum for you. The staff are very welcoming and the space is well lighted. You will leave inspired. It's arranged in chronological order with a very interesting South African inspired section. There is also a nice collection by Dale Chihuly. They sell Venetian masks too. They had a treasure hunt going on which was fun to participate in with the chance to win a Murano necklace.

Fabulous museum to check out if one is interested in ceramic and glass art. So many rooms to explore and such beautiful pieces. Also a great place to take kids as there are number of different scavenger hunt events to get them involved and explore this museum.

The term should be docent tours. It is when a member of the staff or a volunteer gives you a in depth, about 1 hr long tour of the breadth of the collection, what you are seeing, its importance, and shares with the impact it might on life.
Hello Phyllis, No we do not serve food here unless we are having an event. We do have restaurants however that are walking distance around the museum.
