My hip joints had been steadily deteriorating for several years, with decreasing range of motion and increasing pain. I was at the point where I was considering an operation to replace my right hip joint. I was skeptical that stem cell injections could help me, but I decided to try it first, thinking that I would still have the joint replaced if this didn't help. I found Dr Sheinkop and was impressed with his knowledge and his straightforward answers about what might help me. The procedure was done in August 2017 at a surgery center with a very professional medical atmosphere. I have had slow but steady improvement in the year that has passed since the injections. My hips are not perfect, but I feel so much better that I am no longer considering joint replacement at all. I am happy with the outcome; it was the right choice for me. Thank you Dr Sheinkop and all of your wonderful staff. Update Feb, 2021 : After the initial improvement in the first year after the stem cell injections, the right hip continued to deteriorate. In Oct, 2020, I had total joint replacement in my right hip. The surgery went well and I am quite happy with my new hip.

Dr Sheinkop has kept me from having knee replacement for over 4 years and most grateful He continues to research stem cell and other procedures to continue to help people with their knee issues and to help not having to do replacement!

Dr. Sheinkop is a unique doctor, his first option is not surgery. He's on top of the newest, most effective treatments and is also a good listener. I would recommend him to anyone seeking an opinion before doing anything invasive.

When I lived in Chicago he was my doctor and replaced both of my knees, in 2001.my name back then was Renee Thillen, I am now a Copley. The knees are still working excellent 17 years later. No pain and I work outside cutting trees, rode horses for any years and even went skiing @ Alpine in Wisconsin and also in Colorado

My son needs an osteochondral plug in his right proximal humeral head. Do you do this kind of surgery? Or do you have any recommendations.
