Not a safe location to store your valued goods or pride and joy. Look up floods 2019 Paradise Lakes on YouTube, Google and all the local news networks. Check out the videos from March 2019 onwards from the Bellevue PD. This location used to be the rental office for Paradise Lakes mobile home community. It's now a storage business office and auto repair shop. Strange thing is that on the building frontage it says Helms. The name must surely be a coincidence because the Bellevue City Council would never be so insane as to confirm a business license to a company owned by the same family that didn't have the insurance cover to pay for the devastation to the homes that were once there. The same Bellevue City Council that bailed out the business entity Paradise Lakes and that cost their tax payers millions of dollars. But who knows who knows who in this day and age.

Questions & Answers

Has anyone been in contact with Secured Storage in any way. I have heard nothing about when I can get in to assess damage or even if they are still in business?

You need to follow the city of Bellevue's social media or the Bellevue police department social media they are giving daily updates and footage and will let us know when we can go in. The city started clean up on Harlan Lewis road and started doing hazmat inspections to deem areas safe to reenter yesterday but our storage area is still under about 3ft or so of water. City has said it can be a month or so b4 we can get in I'm hoping its sooner so insurance can give us a check for our camper and we can move forward on purchasing another.

Did the facility get flooded? I'm out of town and was wondering what the damage was.

If you get on the Bellevue police department Facebook page you can get all the updates with drone footage and pictures they are doing a fantastic job at keeping us updated on what's going on.

They tried to sell us insurance right before the flood. We have a classic car there.

How will the damages to personal items, furniture and etc, within the secured storages facility be handled? Is there insurance to cover the damages from the flood. I have an entire 2-3 bedroom apartment worth of funiture and so much more there.

I hope I'm wrong but unless we purchased extra coverage at time of rental the contents of our storage units are NOT covered . Big hit for me too . Like I say I hope I'm wrong !
