We came in today and were informed that they no longer carry small or pinhead crickets… Very disappointed because the “medium” ones are often too large for our anole to eat safely. We now have to drive all the way to Barboursville to purchase them for him. The staff here is always wonderful however and they have a good selection so we will continue to come here for other supplies… but please bring back the small sized crickets 😔

We were new to have a pet. We ordered a tank and pump for our kids to have some fish. Petland was very helpful with teaching us what we need to know about the water for fish the amount of fish for our tank size ect. We had a few fish pass away, so I took them back. The lead on duty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He tested my water, further educated me on the levels and what they mean. I returned two days later, they remembered me and tested the water again. They replaced all the fish that had passed away from the first buy. I would absolutely recommend the south point petland!!!!

Played with an interact with the animals. The cages were clean. The store was clean. The workers were attentive and asked if I needed anything. The animals all seemed well cared for.

No, but you can easily find one in the wild lol, I have seen box turtle food. Not sure if Petland has any though. Don't forget about the heating, lighting, and housing first!
They average around $6.00. I have several friends that buy from there for their snakes. The cost depends on if you want frozen or live. I believe live ones are $5.48 with tax and all not sure about frozen but defiantly NOT $10 As someone said I was just in there 2 or 3 days a go.
