Really a fantastic place to shoot! Nothing bad to see here at all, great facility, kind operators and a friendly 2A sportsmans community. Prices are pretty tame, especially when you see the semi affluent nuevo rich homes which have encroached on this gorgeous 2A Sanctuary. I'm new to the area and I will definitely be bringing my business here on a regular basis, as early as possible each day I can shoot.

All negative reviews are from neighbors who got duped by their realtor and bought a house without looking at the surrounding area. I have no sympathy for those too foolish to investigate neighborhoods before buying/building a house. Additional concerns about the school being close were extensively debated by the school board and they still built the school (Find the article from the Des Moines Register). They were here before you, and they will be here after you leave too. No amount of complaining will make them move or convince the city to make a business move that has been there since 1961. As for shooting - it’s a great time! Sporting clays is a fun challenge. They have a few guns to rent if you are new to the sport. During summer, the place is abuzz with competition and events. If you watch skeet shooting in the Olympics and want to try it, this is a great place to try it out!
