Fred Hexom is easily the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with. I’ve spent a fair share of time at several dealers in Siouxland usually with bad, impersonal, and/or dishonest practices. Fred & Vern Eide were so far from any of those things. After meeting Fred and telling him about my upcoming Jeep lease end, what I was looking for, and where I wanted to sit financially, Fred & the managers went straight to work figuring out what my best option would be. Unlike similar experiences at other dealerships where I would tell them my needs and they’d tell me I have no options and let me walk out of the dealership with no effort put into their customer service. In just a few days of trial and error, Fred got me set up with a new 2023 Hyundai Tucson lease right in the pocket of where I needed to be for payments. His diligent work over several days, constant communication, and understanding is what ultimately made me switch from being a Jeep driver for the past decade to a proud Hyundai driver. Bad customer service, was not able to buy a car because I am not a citizen, so I went to a different location and they sold me a car. Apparently you not suppose to charge a customer for any service if there car is still under 30,000 miles, I was charged every single time.

A few months ago, was my first time going to Vern Eide. I do not like car shopping (because it takes time), but Mike did an outstanding job! Mike was prompt getting all the paperwork together and moving efficiently. It had to have a part fixed. Alex and Sam did an amazing job getting it fixed and ready to go. We are taking significant steps to make sure our dealership is sanitary and clean. Our showroom and service bay is cleaned thoroughly multiple times a day. Sanitization stations are placed throughout the dealership, free to use for both our employees and clients. Our staff has been asked that during this time to practice social distancing and refrain from handshakes. They are instructed to stay home if they are feeling under the weather. For drivers seeking service, our shop is available with normal business hours. Most of our regular practices are still in place. You are welcome to stay in your vehicle when pulling into the service lane. An advisor will greet you upon arrival. Before and after service, our team will be wiping down the interior of each vehicle with sanitization wipes. While performing services, our team will also be wearing gloves. Above all, our team is here to help, no matter what questions or concerns you may have, we are just a phone call away.
