Great people!! So easy to work with!
Richard Sanders
Blue Raven showed up promptly at 7 am. They were very efficient installing 22 solar panels and all electrical components before 2pm. Blue Raven technicians were great to work with and the finished product looks great. I highly recommend their work.

From the very first, Blue Raven has been a very pleasant experience. From our salesman, Mic, who always answers any text questions promptly, to the installers who were polite and efficient and worked carefully and respectfully, to the electrician, Jimmy Rodrigues, who was polite, informative, and educational, all these people were delightful, respectful, and informative. A+ with that. Blue Raven also explained the difficulties I might have with the following;, you will also have to deal with two other entities. The HOA has to approve the installation. The HOA site is confusingly difficult. Some how I could only install solar screens on the back windows but, got approved for the panels in the end. Centerpoint has to approve the wiring and installation after it is done. That takes about 3-4 weeks. also, finding a supplier for your residential power company can be time intensive. There are only a few who want to deal with the integration with solar. They don’t make enough money to supply you. Also you cannot “over produce” because you then are a supplier. There are three suppliers who will give you “buyback” credit. That way you are not changed for the nights when your panels are not working. You get credit carried over for rainy days and bad weather. The carry over is month to month. You will have to pay a “connection fee” just to have the power when you are not producing. Prices from the suppliers are going to almost double soon. I hope that I will be locked in for the next 25 years for just the monthly payments for the solar panels and the price of the electric wont matter. Of course if I had used batteries I would eliminate the need for my generator when the power went out at night. The positive is that it all was explained to me, and as I researched I found it all to be true. A+ BR Now we realized we had not placed enough panels to produce enough power to justify solar. We had to go through the permit process again. HOA included. Things get worse. The installer who came out to do the retrofit did not complete the job and the three do not show up in the array. It cost $5000 to put in three more panels. After the "install" the device "sense" which shows all the things that use power went to reporting a minus. And now one of the panels is not working. While in Minnesota For the summer I could see this. I called BRSand got a work order from Megan. I returned early from MN to be home to meet the workers to observe the repair. People did not show. Megan had called to confirm the appointment but forgot to schedule the work order. I have cautiously changed my mind on their ability to give the service necessary to maintain my array for the guaranteed 25 years they are financed. Also, other solar companies will no service unless they installed. This review comes after I informed them that I would change it I f they dont do something soon to repair the array and fix the broken panel. It has been about a month and no satisfaction yet. To be continued.

The install crew here in Boise is first rate. The men are total pro's. My solar array looks great. No issues. I will recommend Blue Raven Solar to everyone who asks about my system.

Not sure, but built in the USA.
Hey Mike, it depends on the municipal permitting timeline as well as city inspection and then utility inspection. If everything goes perfect with all of that, it can be completed within 2 weeks, but generally 45-60 days average from contract to energization of panels.
Could be possible but I doubt any warranties will come with it.
Great question Bob! The specific wind speed that each system can handle is unique to the spacing between the mounts. However, When we're designing the systems, we send the plans to be certified and stamped to handle the local jurisdiction wind speed which can be certified up to 160 MPH.
