Military personnel (especially young service members) beware of this gym and their cancellation practices! They require either in-person cancellation or a certified letter. As many of you know, changing duty stations is incredibly difficult for our young men and women in uniform. Some are selling all of their possessions to move from one duty station to the next and fail to remember to go into the gym in person. When they get to their new duty stations, some are not allowed to leave base because they are going through indoc again, as with my son. All the while, Crunch Fitness continues to pull money from their account and does not accept cancellation by phone or even an email with a scanned letter attached. They purposely make it difficult. It's doubly shameful of this privately owned franchise to take advantage of our young men and women that have dedicated their lives to serving and sacrificing for our country. The owner should be ashamed of his/herself.

They make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership once you sign the dotted line!! Talk about the worst customer service and not being treated with any form of respect whatsoever!! I had to get my bank involved because Crunch still wouldn't let me out of my contract, EVEN AFTER I did everything correct including the certified piece of mail!! A bunch of crooks!! The only thing they care about is your money!!!!!! RUN QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A teenager must be at least 16 years old to have their own membership but a parent or guardian would have to sign off as the responsible party. Even if that teenager is paying the parent must still sign as the responsible party after the fact. If they are 18 years old then they can sign on their own accord. If parent is paying then the paying party just needs to sign as the account holder responsible for the payments each month.
We do offer military discounts on our enrollment fees. Just let the front desk know that you are military and we can explain what those discounts are. As for the steam room no North Charleston does not have one however our Mount Pleasant club does have a sauna.

No, but in the classes that I've seen there are very few, if any males. Most don't have males attend them.
Depends on their skill set, and whether you get locked into a year long program. I think its like $33 per session or $120 per month for a yearly commitment. They will find something that meets your needs.
