Just got back yesterday from an amazing weekend. My husband and I needed a getaway from our busy life. We were thrilled with the accommodations, loved every detail. We un-plugged (love the no cell service and Wi-Fi), listened to old records and 8 tracks, built a fire outside and just enjoyed being still with no plans or cares in the world. Freckles and the rooster crowing made it feel right at HOME. We can't wait to come back; this will be our home away from home spot. Thank You Gabe and Dawn!

We spent three nights in the Lone Cedar cabin, and I couldn't recommend the experience enough! Every inch of the interior AND exterior oozes rustic atmosphere and luxurious country living, from the back porch swing overlooking the peaceful woods to the impressive collection of VHS movies, cassette tapes, books, and records laid out for perusal and viewing/listening/reading pleasure. We found that the owners went the "extra mile" in everything - the provided coffee is stored in an airtight coffee jar; plenty of dishes, both in quantity and variety, are provided (same with towels and other linens); the cabin has a wonderful fragrance that, while floral, is subtle and not overwhelming to people with sensitive noses; really, somehow any part of the property you might find yourself in, or any area you might decide to look, will hold something that adds to the richness of the experience. The owners' outdoor pets, Freckles the dog and the cat (whose name we never learned) were fantastic to have around, as well! Their companionship during parts of the weekend made us feel even more at home. The owners, who we met briefly upon arrival and who were extremely responsive, were also quite welcoming and considerate. I have absolutely no cons about this place and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a cabin getaway!

Was a delightful place to spend our 32nd anniversary weekend❤️. The “pine cone” (retro 1957 camper) was a unique stay! We really enjoyed ourselves, even the outdoor shower and of course Freckles. We also relaxed by hammocking and reading up by the stream and bat cave. Thank you!! They even left a little anniversary gift for us.

We stayed at the Oak Ridge Cabin for Labor Day Weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin and property are both so beautiful with so much to do! We caught two HUGE catfish in the pond and did some great hiking right by our cabin. We will be recommending Lone Cedar Cabins to all of our family and friends and plan to come back every year! Thank you Gabe and Dawn for a weekend we will never forget!

It depends on which cabin and how many folks are coming. The Pine Cone vintage RV is 60.00 a night, plus tax for 2. Our Lone Cedar cabin starts at 135.00 a night, plus tax for 2, will hold up to 4. Our Oak Ridge cabin starts at 150.00 a night, plus tax for 4, will hold up to 8. Check out our webpage for all the details. www.lonecedarcabins.com. Dawn
About 10 minutes to the north side of the lake. Shouse Ford use area which includes day use swimming beach and picnic area. One of the least used areas around the lake and one of the clearest lakes in Arkansas!
No to WiFi and sometimes but most likely no to cell phone service! We don't apologize for this either! In this world of overwhelming technology we promote a few days of quiet. A few days of less stress, a few days of rest. We have some old fashioned fun, horseshoes, board games, music (including old vinyls), hiking, fishing, old school swing set, nature, outdoor fire pits, book/magazines, outdoors showers or just sitting on the porch doing nothing! Of course we live on the property and have to have all that technology so you can leave our home phone with family and we will relay messages day or night. Within minutes of leaving our valley you will get all those services back(ugh) but in the mean time come, relax and enjoy!
Our cabins/vintage RV are spaced apart enough for privacy at each place. They each have outdoor showers and fire pits you can use without feeling your in the next cabins yard! Only the pond area and the trails are shared by everyone. We are on a 50 acre private property. Peaceful--stress free--secluded--private--rustic--hideaway!
Yes to kids, No to pets! We love children and we love letting them be kids out here. We have 50 acres, it's a kids paradise! No to pets, sorry, we can't keep our cabins up to the cleanliness that we want if pets are allowed. Too many folks allergic. And we have our own dog that patrols our property and she doesn't share well! Freckles is our official greeter!
We are about 15 minutes to Hot Springs. Use google maps, there is a back way using 347 and Amity Rd. Do not use Apples system, it will take you about 30 longer to get there!
I'm not sure why but your iPhones mapping system still will take you to a wrong road. I have been trying to correct that for years. Please use Google maps and just put in Lone Cedar Cabins. It finds us easy peasy!
