The cabin was clean and comfy. There was not too many people there and the cabin had a good amount of privacy. My friend was excited about learning how to fish but my other friend had forgotten her tackle box. The owner was kind enough to give us fishing gear! I was very impressed by this. I highly reccomend this place for a little getaway. Just be prepared to not have phone service.

We lived this out of the way location. Loess Hills are wonderful any time of year but especially in the winter. We hiked, did some snowshoeing and just relaxed in the lodge cabin. They are pet friendly and our new Pomeranian puppy also enjoyed the snow.

This was one of the cleanest, most cared-for campgrounds my wife and I have ever been in. The cabin was decorated, and the indoor and outdoor furniture were solid and not cheap. Never seen a cleaner, more sanitary shower house in my life, and they even provided magazines to read, lol. There were nice trails that connect directly to all four cabins, probably 90 minutes to 2 hours to walk them all, really nice views, maintained. And literally a 60-second walk from our cabin #1 was a bench atop a hill with the most incredible view, majestic. The owner was also very responsive to email questions or phone calls, and clearly cares about the place and his guests.

Quiet, relaxing getaway. Cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!
