No, there is no limit to your self storage access rate, other than the business hours. The gates of the facility lock at a specific time each evening, and unless you have 24-hour access set up, you can't access your unit after the facility's gate access hours.
Please contact your facility manager to change your password or gate code.
You must enter your gate code before entering the facility; you can't follow another person in. If you don't register going in, the code will not work coming out.
StorageMart offers a discount on select storage units when renting online.
A "timed out" error happens when gate access hours are closed. The "access denied" message happens when there is an overdue balance. If you have any issues accessing your storage unit, please contact your facility manager or contact our 24/7 customer service department.

If you lost the key to your unit, please stop by the facility's office during business hours so the location manager can help you regain access to your unit.
Most of our units are best locked with a disc lock, available for purchase at our facilities. While other lock types do work, the design of the disc lock helps deter someone from cutting it.
Most of of our facilities have onsite managers with set office hours. Only a few have managers who live onsite. Some facilities are annexes, with their office located at a nearby location.
Yes, we can accept deliveries on your behalf at most of our locations. Our facility manager can sign for the package and allow the delivery service access to your unit to deliver it. Please contact your facility manager to set up delivery acceptance.

All of our facilities sell a wide range of packing and moving supplies, including boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, and more. Many of our locations offer the use of moving carts, trolleys, and dollies for free. We have a great supply of moving supplies for sale, and our staff are excellent resources for recommending local movers!

When you rent storage with us, you are responsible for moving into your unit. That said, our Brooklyn and Hollis locations in New York offer a free moving service with the rental of a storage unit.
We offer first month free on select units, which are clearly marked on the website. If you select one of these units and move in between the 1st and the 15th, that month is free. If you move in between the 16th and 31st of a month, we will prorate your rent for the partial month and the next month's rent is free!
