FREE camping, but no elec/water/bathrooms, and depending on when your stay it can be loud. Close to the road lots of traffic. The gun range going all day. When is quiet it's great. Fires only in the 2 fire rings.

Amazing place to camp and fish. Area is well cared for and clean. Vault toilets, nice fire pits, flat ground to set up tents, picnic tables. There are black walnut trees that can be mildly hazardous to camp under during late summer/early fall. MDC does an amazing job caring for their conservation areas.

Always enjoy our time here. Whether just setting by the water or fishing or walking around the lake. Never fail to see Deer and Rabbits plus multiple birds.

Yes, there is primitive camping. No check in is needed and it's free.

Earlier in the season now they seem to be thinning out

There are alot of spots it would have to be drug to the next deep spot
Its a managed hunt you had to draw in months ago. All other hunting is suspended on the area till its over
