This cemetery has ornate metal signs posted everywhere, overhanging the curb. If you pull over to let another car pass, as I did, you can very easily end up with a deep scrape on your car, as I did. Totally unnecessary and should be replaced with round signs slightly set back from the road, like Bellefontaine. A 5 minute visit to the Garden of Innocents costs me $500+ in auto body repair.

Unfortunately, we didn't even have a chance to visit our Grandmother's grave because 3 suspicious cars were speeding through when we arrived. 2 of the cars circled back and got behind us. We came to a fork in the road and I could see the 3rd car waiting up the hill to the right, so I made a left and exited the Cemetery. The thugs in the cars behind us could be seen hand gesturing to the car ahead after we made that left turn, a turn that potentially saved our lives. This area of St. Louis is drug-infested and crime-ridden. Please be alert and safe if you visit. Call the Cemetery and find out best/safest times to visit.

My father just passed away and I called Calvary Cemetery to find out about getting a plaque placed next to his parents, who are memorialized there on, or near, the grave of my great grandfather. The person I spoke with told me that I had to prove I was a direct descendant of the person who held the account for the family plot. He gave me her name, but I have never heard of her before. I mentioned that if my great grandfather and both my grand parents are either buried or memorialized there, how could I not be a direct descendant of the person whom he claimed held the family plots? Well, It turns out she is my great, great grandmother. So, I need to contact her to get permission. Does anyone know of a good app to communicate with those existing in the great beyond? As I've been taking care of the odds and ends of my father's passing, I've been greeting with nothing but empathy from people at organizations I've contacted — with this one exception. I suppose the man who I talked with could have been having a bad day — although, I don't see how it can be worse than the past few days I've had. My advice to people who run Calvary Cemetery is to at least act like you care. It seems like that's your business. And the guy who I spoke to was very, very bad at his job.

Calvary Cemetery (Catholic) left of Calvary Ave. & Bellefontaine Cemetery (non-denominational) right of Calvary Ave.
You will have to go on site and talk to the people in the cemetery to see about the amount
I believe so, but you'll have to call them to make sure.
Yes
They pick up flowers i just dont know how regularly.
I'm not sure but you can ask the office
It's in the northwest corner of the cemetary. Head that way and you can't miss it. From the entrance, take the left path and keep heading west
Go to office by the gate during the week and they will help you.
Yes should be able to do that.
Go to the front office and they will be able to assist you.
You can try looking on the Billion Graves App. They will give you GPS coordinates. The cemetery office should also be able to give you a map and mark the grave for you. I hope you can get some kind of permanent marker for her, so she can be found easier.
Just inside entrance, the office will help you locate a grave.
Any time
Office is no longer open on Saturday
Yes he is
You can go online to the cemetery website. Search for your family, and on that page there is a button to request a photo of the gravesite. There are lots of people who take pictures for out-of-town family. Good luck.
That goes to Calvary. I think they are the central office for the Archdiocese.
You have to call the cemetery office. Some areas are only allowed to have stones even with ground level.
Call the cemetery office to get the correct section and plot location, then call the original monument company or one in the area. There are usually one or two near the cemetery.
Check the main office
U can ask the lady in the office. They have payment plans, close at 5pm
No. You have to go on the weekdays and ask for it at the Desk. The maps are very easy to read and use
