Very clean park There is a huge dog park And a nice play set

My daughter and I took our Golden Retriever this past weekend and were greeted by a Great Dane and a St.Bernard while trying to open the gate to enter. We didn't even step foot into the park when both dogs came into the enclosed area and attacked our dog!!! It was very upsetting needless to say and we will not be returning. It's unfortunate that people still bring their dogs knowing that they can't control them!!!

Yeah, it is not a staffed park in the sense of a place with vendors, attractions, etc. Just a standard little park with fenced areas for dogs to run free and play. They also have pavilions and some playground equipment for the kiddos. It is very beautiful there, but the only job as Joe said, would be with the Park District itself.
Yes, there is a large dog area and a small happy dog area. Both are fenced. You're expected to clean up your dog's poop and ensure your dog plays well with others.
Yes, there are a few short nature trails. They run between the East and West access so you can park on either side, Legion Road or Ernest Street, to find them.
