Please visit the IL Secretary of State office (which is just down the road from IDOT) or online at ilsos.gov. The Dept of Transportation is for the building and maintenance of roads in Illinois. They do not handle license renewals or anything related to the general public's motor vehicles (titles, driver's license, etc).

Tim: Is there a way you and I could communicate outside of this feed?

Yes, Mark send me your contact info. Sorry just saw your question today.

Tim. Thanks for the info. As soon as i saw your answer i remembered what it was. Since we were spraying for Johnson grass we also added some Round Up to the Outrider. Is that something you did in your district as well?

That depends what your target pest is outside of Johnson grass. The outrider will control most grasses at varying levels of product . I used multiple products to create a growth inhibitor with outsider controlling most grasses by stunting growth. But yes I did used roundup at times. But you might have also used 2 4 d , ester or amine to control Johnson grass.

Was wondering if you could tell me what chemicals they used back in 1974 and 1975 to spray along roads to kill Johnson grass etc. I worked out of the West City garage for 5 years back then.

We used a product called outrider from Monsanto. It was 1000 dollars for 20 oz.. we used it in district 8. I was not in district 9 in 74 or 75 Hope this helps.

Do you code scanners where people listen to see what going on with the roads

Not that I know of but you can call the nearest IDOT maintenance yard and they can tell you the road conditions. !!!
