I've been a patient of the endocrinology dept ( In back to the right) for 6 years. My diabetes is taken care of by these Drs. It's been a good trip each time Dr. Lawler us a fine physician , and has led me down a path of better and better health. Her advice has ALWAYS been fruitful and good.. And I trust my Dr. 100%

I've gone here for many years. The doctors here are great and they listen and talk things through. HOWEVER, each of the doctors are only in the carbondale office a few times a week; resulting in MAJOR DIFFICULTY getting your prescription quickly. So when they make errors like sending scripts to the wrong pharmacy (happened this week) or the doctor forgetting to ask or check refill status. You CANNOT use a pharmacy app, request a refill and be done like with other doctor offices. They will just never reply and claim they never got any pharmacy fax (This ALSO happened this week with a separate prescription I will be going without it now and go without sleep yet again. It's a major problem and I can't deal with it anymore. I can't spend all my free time calling the office for every prescription I'm about to run out of to say, "Hey, did you get that refill request from the pharmacy? " Then later, "ok, did you get THAT refill request.". But that was their answer today, "Just let us know a few days in advance that you're running out." WELL I DID THAT ALREADY when I REQUESTED THE REFILL FROM THE PHARMACY. It's just absurd and intensely frustrating because the doctors simply aren't there enough. Also, reception can be very rude and condescending especially over the phone. I think it's time for me to be moving on. Like I said, the doctors are great. It's just sad.

I really appreciate Natasha Shaffer and the other employees at this clinic, I've been going here for years now and I feel safe in their care. Natasha is an excellent person who listens and will help and try to solve and will give resources if needed be. She truly cares for her patients and is the best medical professional that I have seen and I'm so glad that she comes to Carbondale! The front workers and nurses are all very kind and sweet and will help you with any scheduling conflicts and will try to find a better alternative. Once when I was getting blood drawn, I freaked out badly but the nurse helped me through my panic attack and just stayed with me and talked until I was better and made sure that I wasn't upset when I left after my appointment. I will say though, that there is sometimes a wait and I'm here longer than expected for a usual visit but that seems pretty typical when it comes to medical care.
