Yes Dustin they can! I high school junior can enlist into the United States Army Reserves and attend Basic Combat Training during the summer between their junior and senior year. You can enlist up to 34 years old however, we do have Exceptions to Policy (ETP) that sometimes get approved for older individuals. Your high school counselor would have to contact the Vincennes Army Recruiting Station and speak to the Station Commander (SFC Parker). He submits a request for the asset 90 days in advance. There is no promises the request will be approved or not. Just depends on the logistical capabilities of the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Mission Support Battalion (MSB) at that time.
