Great question and Dave is correct! All Soldiers earn 30 days of paid vacation per year. They also receive all federal holidays and unlimited sick days off. You should talk to one of our recruiters to learn more. Call 812-882-2266 to make an appointment!
Yes you can James! We can conduct a virtual appointment over facetime and continue processing you for enlistment from there. Our office can talk to and enlist anyone within the surrounding area such as Evansville, Jasper, Terre Haute, and anywhere in the United States such as California, Texas, or New York. Call 812-882-2266 for more information.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. The ASVAB was first introduced in 1968 and was adopted by all branches of the military in 1976.
Good question Bridgette. You can join the Army depending on some legal details we need to talk more about! We recommend that you discuss this in more detail with a recruiter in person compared to a public forum due to privacy concerns. Contact the office tomorrow at 812-882-2266 for more details.
Yes Dustin they can! I high school junior can enlist into the United States Army Reserves and attend Basic Combat Training during the summer between their junior and senior year. The current Station Commander of the Vincennes Station enlisted into this program. If you have any more questions, please give us a call at 812-882-2266.
That’s a good question Dustin! You must be 17 years old with parental consent to enlist. You can enlist up to 34 years old however, we do have Exceptions to Policy (ETP) that sometimes get approved for older individuals. That is something a person must meet with a Recruiter to gather more information. Every situation if different. Call 812-882-2266 for more specific details.
Your high school counselor would have to contact the Vincennes Army Recruiting Station and speak to the Station Commander (SFC Parker). He submits a request for the asset 90 days in advance. There is no promises the request will be approved or not. Just depends on the logistical capabilities of the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Mission Support Battalion (MSB) at that time.
We currently do not have a recruiter within the station that is fluent in Spanish however, we have the ability of have a recruiter that is assist if required. Have someone call 812-882-2266 and request one in advance and we will ensure you are anyone you know is taken care of. Good question!
Yes you can! You will require a Dual Military waiver which is not hard to put together. Contact the Vincennes Army Recruiting Station and talk to a recruiter to learn more.
