I have dealt with them now 2 times first time I wasted my time for the doctor to say she was going to call me back the next day she never did then I went there 3 days later to speak with her because it is impossible to get ahold of anyone . couldn't speak rlwith the Dr but then the nurse came out and told me they were going to give me a new prescription which guess what they never called in . get it together I'm not from here and am visiting till Jan and will say not pleased at all also the lady at deal looked like I was crazy for going in there to ask for Dr . so I'll have to try again on Monday guessing I'll have to go in being can't get ahold of anyone

Decent place helps the wife and the kids. Would give 5 stars but been going to them around 6 months for the same problem and keep getting told nothing is wrong and the issues still continue. Have helped me a lot in past though

Do I need to make an appointment for my husband and I for a Covid booster, which would our 2nd, and our flu shot?

Thank you for your questions. Appointments are always recommended but not required for immunization services. While COVID boosters are currently available to anyone 12+ years old, we will not have flu shots available until our Flu Bowl at the JHS Bowl on October 6-7. For more information on walk-in hours of availability or to schedule an appointment for a COVID Booster, please visit https://www.morganhd.com/covid-19/covid-19-vaccine

Thank you for your question. In Morgan County we are vaccinating county residents age 75 and older. Other vaccine eligible individuals who work in Morgan County, but live elsewhere should contact their employer for information vaccine distribution for their sector. We will continue to implement a phased approach to providing this service as more vaccine and the resources to administer it become available.

Do you know when the 65+ vaccines will be offered?

How will the over 65 age group be notified that theCovid 19 vaccine is available for them? Do we need to be registering with the health dept to be scheduled?

Nancy Spangenberg | Oct 9, 2021
Morgan County Health Department | Oct 9, 2021

Thank you for your inquiry. There is currently no waiting list for people wanting the vaccine. Vaccine is being distributed in a phased approach according to IDPH, CDC and government guidelines. We are currently in phase 1a which includes healthcare workers and nursing home residents. More information on this strategy is available here: https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccination-plan When we have enough vaccine on hand and we are able to move to another phase we will announce when it is available via all social media and local media outlets.

Are immunizations for 6th graders given everyday?

Katt Trotter | Oct 10, 2018
Morgan County Health Department | Oct 10, 2018

Katt, Thank you so much for your question. The answer from our nurse Cindy is correct. You can save time by printing your immunization forms from our website and filling them out before you visit us. Don't forget to call your insurance company, before you come, and ask: 1) Do they cover all of the recommended vaccinations for your child 2) If the Morgan County Health Department is "in-network" for your plan. Please bring your child's insurance card with you when you come to visit us. We look forward to serving you and your family!
