In town for vacation and just played this course for the first time today. Had a fair share of challenging holes with plenty of easier ones sprinkled in to keep your spirits up. Although a few of the greens are being reworked, as of the time of this review, the provisional greens rolled well enough to put on, and didn't hamper 2-putt pars. Solid 4-stars for this interesting course!

Let’s start with the positives: The staff is great. Both at the K Club and in the pro shop, no complaints at all. Unfortunately, as another reviewer mentioned, I don’t pay to hang with the staff. I pay for the golf course, and that’s where the positive ends and the negatives begin. First, they have completely lost most of the greens on the back nine. It’s not even serviceable. Horrendous playing conditions. Second, the greens had recently been punched and top-dressed, no one in the pro shop mentioned this nor did they apply any discount. Third, they charged me a 10 dollar surcharge for my wife to ride with me during my round. They said it was for insurance purposes. I’ve played golf for 15 years and have never even heard of such a proposition. I know the club is under new ownership and is likely in a bit of flux, but that is no excuse to charge 35 dollars plus a 10 dollar surcharge (for 9 holes, mind you) to play a course that is experiencing the kind of degeneration that this course is experiencing. In fact, it’s truly embarrassing. If ownership reads this, please reevaluate. Until the course realizes substantial improvements, you’re not doing yourselves any favors in generating optimism for the future.

The greens are awful. Uneven. It is not a well maintained, pretty golf course.

This was the most I have paid to play at a course and the worst conditions I have experienced. There small sand bunkers on the greens and ruff patches all throughout the fairways. Many of the tee boxes looked like I was in my back yard. They did not cut the grass in what should have been the ruff off of the fairway making some spots unplayable. I have played $15 city courses that were in better condition that this place. Don't waste your money.
