Emptied my unit on the last day of last month, nobody in the office to handle check out (second time that this has happened at a PS facility). Immediately got online and chatted with "customer service" to make sure I wasn't going to get charged. I was assured that I wasn't going to be charged and that the fact that I had vacated the unit had been noted (also got a text message confirming that I had vacated the unit). STILL got charged, and just got off ANOTHER chat with customer service to clear THAT up. They tell me that they "unfortunately" didn't close the account until AFTER the autopay was pulled (conveniently) 4 days AFTER I had vacated the unit, and that they will be sending a refund check in 4-6 WEEKS. I'm starting to feel like this is a PS scam as it has happened more often than not when I've rented space from them.

I have had several storage units over the years (most at other Public Storage locations) and they are all pretty similar, nothing fancy. This location is smaller and laid out well so it is easy to navigate and convenient, which is nice, especially at night, and my unit was clean and in great condition. But, my interaction with Shawn, the store manager, has made a big difference in why I am so happy with my experience at this particular location. She has been wonderful. A friendly voice and warm, pleasant demeanor really goes a long way and I certainly appreciate it. Thank you for all of your help Shawn!!

My experience with managers Shawn and Charlie have been nothing but stellar. They helped me with some issues and gave me a great customer experience. I recommend them to anyone. The outdoor storage is clean and well lit. Easy access all times of the day. With managers always eager to help, who wouldn’t want to choose them for storage needs.
