I love this place!! This was my first time coming here and fell in love with all the places I can go fishing!! Peaceful.

It's a boat ramp in the middle of the week. There was no traffic on land or sea. $5 for residents and $10 for out of county residents. Not bad on price but why should in county residents have to pay anything. How much does it take to finance the parks department. I understand charging outsiders, but the residents. Is that $5 so important that radishes have to pay to use their own property. However, City of Wilson wifi avaliable on the lake. I must admit I was a little impressed. I see you over there Greenlight. It sure won't Century Link.

No charge and yes you can just need fishing license
You are not supposed to swim near the ramp where the boats are being launched but there is a little area to launch kayaks that people swim at
Not sure but plenty of whites, bass, Catfish, bream to catch
No alchohol! There is a shelter, but I've never seen anyone grilling out

If you use the actual ramp you pay. But if you launch in the shore/ grassy areas, no charge.
