My family has stayed here several times and it is out go-to lodging for our ski trips to Cross Country Ski HQ. The lodge is less than a mile from XC HQ! Super convenient! Rooms are clean and service is great. Definitely check out The Bird & Bear Grill & Mel's Pantry which are both conveniently located super close to the lodge. Also, check out Matt's Lake Street Grill & Pizza in Roscommon which is about 5 miles away.

It was very comfortable bed. two fans in the room so even though they didn't have air conditioning it was fine, put one fan up in the window at night, even a clip to close the blinds. when I asked for ice he brought me some ice right away just a nice visit in a basic hotel with comforts.

Beautiful updated rooms! Very comfortable and the staff is extremely accommodating. Mattress felt new and the TV was better than most hotels I have stayed in. Don't be discouraged by the lack of AC, fan works great and you couldn't be in a safer area to sleep with the windows open. 100% would stay here again.
