Delivery driver cannot deliver to correct address and if you call gallatin post office they rarely ever answer the phone. This has been an ongoing issues for years now.

I lived in this area for 6 yrs and always got everyone else's mail and mine consistently went missing. never received my tax notice, got charged several hundred dollars in fees, wrote the check, mailed and it never got to the tax office. ANOTHER HUGE FEE. and ohmyGod the lines. it's like xmas year round.

The post office drivers are extremely slow! I checked my mailbox at 5:30 pm and the mail still hasn’t ran but I checked usps app and it said that I had mail for the day…. I checked my mail agin at 7pm and FINALLY my mail was there! It should not take ALL DAY for the mail to run!!! The post office workers at the post office are nice though and also try to get you in and out but the drivers definitely can do better!!

Besides checking with the post master, check with the driver and maybe check with the house that you said the driver stop at and maybe ask them. Be nice about it. Also to I have customers that get there package a couple of days later after the package says delivered. Probably delivered to the wrong address. Also contact sender that you did not get package but says delivered.
Depends, if it is odd shaped, just over weight, too small, too big, etc. You can either put a couple extra stamps or take it in to the PO and have them tell you exactly how much

I don't think the area where the PO boxes are at ever closes. It's always been open when I stop by. I believe the other poster is correct about the 4:30 PM closing time for the interior counter staffed by postal workers.
