To the person who calls themselves "Boise 208", you sound like a cranky old lady who likes to complain about everything. For one thing, it's not just California and Washington people moving in here overcrowding everything, It's people from all over the world coming here and overcrowding the whole country not Californians. It sounds like your just jealous you don't live in California. I see alot more people from Oregon coming in than Californians. If your against overcrowding than you need to support having a border wall. That's where the problem is, not Californians. By the way, do you even have a job? The YMCA offered me a job and it pays alot more than minimum wage. Too many people like you just don't want to work. The. YMCA us hiring you know.I would have loved working for the YMCA but I already have 2 jobs. What's your excuse? I love the YMCA and it's hugely and crowded. What does that tell you? That the only person complaining is YOU!!

Great facilities and friendly people. Went here almost everyday for a workout the month I was in Boise.

Out of all the YMCA's in the Boise/Meridian area, this one is my favorite. The weight room is huge and separated from the cardio room. Love all of the Kids zone staff and so thankful they did all they could to keep my kids safe during peak pandemic times. I also love all the class instructors. They get to know you and make you feel so welcome whether you're brand new or a veteran. Swim instructor staff is knowledgeable and kind as well as all the personal training staff. My kids and husband also participate in a martial arts class (Judo) and the sensei is the best in the valley hands down. Honestly love everything about this Y!

You just go in with your insurance card and fill out your application. It's really easy. I use that program myself.
They have both.
Mon-Fri: 5am-10pm Sat: 7am-8pm Sun: 10am-6pm
Yes, guests are allowed. Everyone is advised to wear masks unless actively working out.
No, they do not.
The hours are still regular hours. But you have to call in to reserve a spot for the swimming pool.
They over financial assistance and some insurance coverages cover the cost of being a member.
Every morning every hour
Nope.
If your insurance provides it, just go to the Downtown Y and sign up at the front desk.
If you don't have a membership you do have to pay for a shower. It's a couple dollars and it's early in the morning.
