We had a wonderful time dining at this restaurant. They have a long history here in Chicago that was fascinating to read about. Overall, ambiance was great, but checking in in the front was a bit chaotic as we had to walk the packed hallway to find the waiter and definitely bumped into dining guests. Service was good but due to packed evening service was slow. Food and drinks were really good! They had a couple fall flavored cocktails that were delicious too (eg. Apple cider mule). Currently they have a “truffle menu” full of truffle specialty meals. Dessert was fantastic and would highly recommend the tiramisu.

Food was very good.. JJ the waiter was amazing. Host was rude. Thank you JJ for your classy way of being. You are the reason I enjoy eating out. The host is the reason I want to stay home.

This place was disgusting. It was not Italian what so ever. Me and my husband came here for our 20th anniversary and the service was Terrible. Our food was cold and late and the restaurant lacked hospitality. When I walk into a “traditional” Italian restaurant, I want Italian food. Sorry not sorry!

My wife and I ate there and paid $85 for steaks, drinks, and an appetizer. Also I think their menu is online... But I could be wrong about that.
Children are allowed but I did not see any high chairs for kids.
I spent around 2 hours here having a leisurely dinner and it was lovely.

I don't think so, but this place is old school Chicago so I'd never go looking like a slob. You should dress nice. It would be sad if you were not dressed as well as the staff.

I would say dressy causal....the feel of the place is old world italian...the first time i was there did see the "good old boys" and they dressed the part
