Excellent physician, soft spoken and knowledgeable.

Dr Mehta was nothing, if not determined to get to the source of my back pain. The Fluoro procedure was apparently done correctly this time and I will definitely go ahead with the final step. Dr Mehta was patient and clearly very knowledgeable and confident performing this procedure.

I would definitely give Doctor Mehta 5 stars in my overall evaluation of him. He was intelligent, caring and compassionate and his nurse and PA were the same!!! They asked pertinent questions and listened very intently to my answers - encouraging me to share more about my conditions. Doctor Mehta gave me suggestions on how to gradually increase LDN to help my Hashimoto's Disease and because of this disease, he was happy to hear that my doctor was checking my TSH and other thyroid values. He also encouraged me to join a Weill's Cornell-sponsored experiment on pain and Tai Chi, to see if Tai Chi would help my pain. So happy I saw him !!!

Too bad this is such a common problem 4 many patients replacing their pain care provider(s) 4 any reason 👎. There are many pain Docs & NP's w/in that practice/clinic where Dr. Mehta's located (which is associated w Weill Cornell/NYPres hospital) & while I cannot vouch for them all personally like I can w Mehta, based on the fact Dr. Mehta is a very high caliber Dr., I would expect that all of his colleagues there are good doctors as well- certainly can't hurt to try to get an appt w anyone in the practice. However, I believe specifically regarding Dr. Mehta, existing cases are evaluated on an individual, case by case basis. FYI-They book-up pretty quickly, so if there is an acute need, I'd call to setup a consult w Mehta or another of the Dr's there ASAP, as you'll likely be forced to wait a few wks before you see someone.
Weill Cornell New York Hospital. He accepts Medicare, I do not know if he accepts Medicare advantage
