Love this cross stitch store. Great to walk to ifvyoure waiting in line at the BMV on Kenny Road. Made my over 2hr wait time a bit more enjoyable.

They are so amazing. My only regret is I didn't find out about them sooner before moving out of town. The shop associate was excited to get my first project put together as a newbie and showed me all that I needed. If you like needlework or have been tempted to try, make them your first stop!

Claustrophobic and difficult to view the merchandise. Many of the patterns were placed too low. It would have been better if the patterns were set up on a table in boxes where you could flip through them. It would be difficult for someone with physical issues to really be able to see the patterns that were close to the ground. The patterns were on the walls and in alcoves, but you would have to turn sideways to see anything placed low for fear of bumping into the tables set into each alcove. Old fashioned. Many of the patterns were country samplers and revolved around common themes. I've seen these kinds of patterns for 30 plus years. There were some patterns that were a little more modern, but they were few and far between. Some seemed simplistic. Kinda pricey at $6 very small, patterns and $15 average price for many of the patterns I looked at. There are a plethora of threads. Many wonderful colors. Missing some things you might want to see in a stitching store like stands and more variety of stitching frames. The dog was very friendly and nice.

Questions & Answers

My hands are very painful from many years of stitching. Any products available to help me continue stitching?

I can only go from personal experience. My Dr. recommends keeping hand warm, using a topical ointment like Aspercream and the clover stitching fingerless compression gloves. So far that has worked when they get cold that is when it gets really bad.

Do you have hand and hearts "winter bird" (wee one)?

It's from 2004 so I'm not sure we have it in stock but I can check when we open again on Monday. It is something we can order for you though.
