Fancyburg Park is amazing! Beautiful scenic area with a large park for kids of all ages. We were lucky enough to go when the park was having the Fall Festival. Plenty of large space to run around and the park is extremely clean. There were port-a-potties on site but that may be because of the festival. We will definitely go back. It was beautiful and fun!!

Located in the shelter house by the playground.

I used to visit when my sons family lived on Woodstock rd. I loved the shade trees. They had a delicate narrow leaf and a seed pod about the size of a walnut with the same shape and a hard shell. Does anyone know what kind of trees they are?

Good question, Im thinking bottom of hill in park. There are ball fields there. At front of park, by parking lot, there should be a wooden map/guide of park and dog waste bags.
