A great park with several ballfields and a great playground for kids. There is a party facility for rental and plenty of parking (except during baseball tournaments). Several picnic benches dot a treed area. Best for us are the permanent pit toilets, available year-round. Most of the year there are also port-a-potties in another area. Only downside no running water near the pit toilets.

Parking can be an issue when softball tournaments are going on. Handicap accessible porta johns were a plus.

I don't believe that Hoback park has places that you can rent at the public park you jist park in the parking lot in your kids can go play plus they have baseball fields there were kids can there on a baseball team they go to play baseball they have like 5 fields

Just south of ballfield, make a left at the playground entrance.
I haven't seen any but would not be surprised they have a large variety of birds and animals.
Wow that's mess up i can't believe anyone would even do something like that it doesn't matter who they are it is a public park show anybody should be able to play ball there i don't there very much but i think i would definitely report this to someone and also go somewhere else there is a lot of parks in Newark too to play ball at too
