It was interesting though somewhat confusing it said to stay on the paths but most of the sinage was off the path. It would have been nice if it was better marked because staying on the paved path you couldn't see much.

Positive: We love coming here to relax and fly kites or ride bikes, or just hang out with family. The park and the history is great. Negative: Sometimes, in the evening especially, there are sketchy people lurking around.

Do you mean Spillman Mound? In Ohio or Missouri? Spillman Mound (Muskingum County - Ohio) is a destroyed (leveled flat) mound located on private property.
Dont know not aloud to dig there to find out.

For reservations i would call to be sure or juststop by the main building and ask. We have done birthday parties there before and never reserved anything. Just got there early and moved in for the duration. Small kids party so not to many people. I guess if you have a lot better safe than sorry

If you visit there is a resident park caretaker home and garage on north side of park. Go and ask about your reservation needs. They will be very helpful.
