Yes, you can. Our neighborhood does 4th of July gatherings there every year. First come, first served. No fee. There is a port-a-John but no shelter and only a couple of picnic tables.

Why do we need to pay for a permit to practice youth football if this is a community park..isn't the park for the kids? Apparently our youth football team was practicing to close to a soccer team last night so Columbus Parks Dept was called on us!

Roy, Seems a tad ridiculous to me as well! I have to wonder if the permit would allow for scheduling times for usage, thus enabling non-conflicting space? I am sorry that I do not have the answer to your specific question. But, I hope this gives you some info.

For all of you dog lovers, they do have a pup station where you can get baggies to pick up the poop with. Please be responsible for your pets and respectful of others.
