6 months I have had to reach out to them repetitively to get correspondence of what exactly the hold up was with my application. Emails are returned at their very slow convenience if at all. Phone calls are never returned nor or you able to get anyone on the phone.

Nobody will answer the phone and when you leave messages or send an email it is never returned. I understand that people have had to work from home but, it is now May and a good bit of the country have received or been able to receive their vaccine by now so why someone can’t simply answer the phone is beyond me. There are many, many nurses that have not been able to renew their licenses, or they will renew late. I’m sure many could have actually had Covid and that may have caused the delay. It would be a great help to the nurses of Louisiana to have someone answer the phone at the Lsbpn.

my Wife Has sent her transcripts to the board many times, and they still have not received the transcripts. Even had her school email the transcripts and practical nursing board don’t answer the phone when we try to verify if they got the email or when we ask them online thru the portal messaging service. It’s been a couple months now, and we are trying at least couple times a day to get a hold of them

Recently had trouble with getting my transcripts sent to the LSBN. I called multiple times within a 2 week period to check if they received them. The madam named Brittini processing my licensure was rude, not accommodating or helpful, and even hung up on me. She clarified that she did receive my transcripts and yet my permanent license is still not active though my nurse portal says there are no outstanding items.
