Visited the hot springs pool in the evening while camping in a USFS campground down the road. Pool area and bathrooms were very dirty. Drunk guests in pool playing rap music with dozens of beer cups lined up along the side of the pool. Stray dogs running around everywhere. Very trashy.

We arrived to an empty pool and were told that it would be full "in a couple of hours"...which actually turned into 18+ hours. The cabin we rented looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever, didn't have basics like towels, and and the sheets were covered in dog hair which gave the impression that they probably weren't even clean. There were no screens on the windows and one broken window was poorly covered with a piece of cardboard; any interested chipmunk or squirrel could have easily found it's way in. We paid $180 for a cabin that was significantly less nice, and less clean, than forest service cabins that rent for $35-50!?!

paid over $300 for the newest cabin, and got a really disappointing stay. there was no garbage can in the kitchen, no towels or soap for the shower in the cabin, which the hot water only lasts for 3 minutes every 20 minutes. they don't mention that part on the website. The employees just let their dogs roam around off leash unwatched. The beagle went in our cooler and took $50 worth of steaks. left chewed up shrapnel around the deck. So be very mindful of bringing your dogs if your dog isn't good with other dogs. There is zero control. The hot springs was really nice though, the only reason for the 2 stars.

The Hot Springs themselves were AMAZING. The food at the Lodge in the other hand was not so much. Basically tasted like frozen food heat up. Also, the fryer was "broken" so they said basically we can make burgers and pizza. Kind of a bummer because I love me some french fries! The best thing we ate was actually the side salad that was in lew of the fries.

The bathroom is a communal bathroom above the lodge. A window is located directly next to the toilet at eye level to the world. Its almost as dirty as the rooms.
That's a question where you should just call them.
Well...I had a 2 pound rat in my cabin soooo...yeah I think dogs can stay! Lol. (And no, I didn't bring the rat....it was provided by Elkhorn
They are not open to the public right now only hotel and cabin guests.
Yes
There is a large portion of the road that is plowed regularly by the county. However I have seen days on the weekend where the road up to elkhorn after maverick when the foothills start, had an inch or two on the road unplowed. It can be difficult, but most of the time it's ok. If you know it just snowed up there I would bring 4 wheel drive, otherwise I can get up there even in my mustang.
Not all the way, once off the paved road it's not a bad road.
The indoor wet sauna is 106-108, big outdoor pool is 95, little outdoor pool is 100-101
If you include the mice...then yes
