This is a nice little park on Lake Leelanau. The views across the water are great. Based purely on that, I would give this a higher rating of 3 or 4 stars. The water is a little warmer than Van's Beach. However, based on the reactions of people in my group, there appears to be swimmer's itch. Because of this, I can't recommend swimming here. Our group, luckily, came out with only a minor reaction, but it is definitely present.

A cool place to watch the sun come up. Small beach area to bring children or put in your kayaks. Enjoy the views!!
