Loved looking at the historical facts, but there was no toilet paper and the bathrooms were very dirty. I just ended up going to McD.

Very nice, patriotic rest area and park. There are trees, lawn, a dog run, and a huge, beautiful American flag! Also on display is a 1968 Anti Aircraft gun. The restrooms were clean but could use some doors fixed.

Nice rest stop and also a dog park. It was hot there (July 8th) but has nice shade shelters. Has bathrooms. Dog park is separate from picnic area. Has an anti-aircraft gun on display and is dedicated to a military Sargeant. Nice grassy area for dogs.

Great rest stop to plan for. Set in a lovely veteran memorial park with a huge beautiful US flag flying. One corner is a nicely kept fenced off dog park. Shaded picnic benches, ample trash containers. Flush toilets are more than tolerable with tp, water, air dryer, no soap but hey. Heads & tails above most. Thank you city of Hawthorne!
