Upon arrival at 6Pm the restaurant was basically empty. Sat by 6:05. Placed appetizer order and drink order thereafter. Appetizers came somewhat promptly with our drink order. Apps finished-placed main order. Waited 1 hour for entrees and very hungry, some of which were clearly sitting under a heat lamp due to the dry top portion of the fish. In the meantime while waiting for entrees, our waiter was no where to be found for an additional drink order and we had to ask several other staff for a drink order, following by nothing coming to the table and still no waiter to get the drinks. Lastly, appalling that the staff tried to deliver the sides we placed with our mains, 10-15 minutes after our main course came to the table. Very disappointing for a $300+ dinner for 5. On top of that we mentioned during placing our reservation we had. Our 8 month old with us hence the reason for a reasonable “early” dinner that turned into 2.5 hours. Not very happy, will not return.

This is a terrible sister restaurant to Roslyn. First the wait staff and bussers are all wearing cologne....big no no. Moving on...the food was terrible. Fried to death...soaked in oil. The fish was glistening in the puddle of oil. The tuna so bad I could not eat it...vegetables swimming in oil. No one cared to check on us so we didn't bother to complain. Worst of all was the view into the kitchen where I watched gloveless chef using a dirty dishrag to wipe plates, clean surfaces including utensils and even use the same rag to grab a frying pan. I was so disgusted. This is just unacceptable. Sorry...but there are better places in that high pricepoint.

We had our daughter’s baptism celebration here and we could not have been more pleased with the turnout ! From the planning stages, til the very end, all staff members handled our party with such great care. Every single person working our party was efficient and seemed happy to be serving us! The service was excellent, food was delicious and the timing of food being served was perfect. Although our party was supposed to be bigger, we had tens of cancelations at the last minute due to covid exposures and the restaurant could not have been more understanding and accommodating. We were so grateful that they did not make an already stressful situation any more difficult for us- we were grateful that they have been able to adapt with the times we are in ! Lia coordinated our event exceptionally , and was so hands on with the set up the day of our event. She even met with me at 10pm the night before our event to go over every little detail and assure me that everything would be executed perfectly and efficiently for our party. Lia went above and beyond for us, and I’m so happy we chose Oniro for our special event. Whether we have another party to plan, or if it’s just for dinner, we will definitely be returning ! 5 stars across the board!

I had my baby shower here at Oniro and it was amazing! The food, staff and Lia were excellent. Lia, the event planner was amazing on making my day special. Lia is very professional, very detail orientated, and has an amazing personality which made me feel less stressed and relaxed for my event. My guests loved the food, wine and the assorted desserts (especially the karidopita). I highly recommend Oniro! I look forward to coming back!
