It's a nice state park. Used to be a ski zone Park now you can come tubing in the winter and it has more done 1,000 acre of hiking land. Has nice bathrooms, clean, it's a very beautiful area. And very fresh air

Is it allowed to park overnight at the Silver Mine lake parking lot? I would like to do some winter camping on the camping area around the William Brien refuge.

You'll be fine in any season. Just try to keep it to a minimum of 3 days at most.

I noticed picnic benches near a dream off the parking lot area..is this on a 1st come 1st serve basses? And with out making resevations?
