There are special days for children students special needs kids that save a bundle down in price to free. You can find out what specials are left on admission by calling the fair office. They are so nice and eager to help you save some money on entry. I WAS THERE ON MONDAY. Myself and brother got in free veterans and my son got in with a discount ticket from Geisinger that brought his ticket down to 5 DOLLARS so only spent 18 total for entrance as we had my wife and another with us. $7 for adults. Small price to pay for such an excellent fair. Once inside there arenhundreds of vendors and lots of exhibits to see. Some exhibits are pay for, but it's only 50 cents to a dollar for larger livestock.

The fair is usually Saturday to Saturday the last full week of September or the last week of September into October. I don't believe they announce next year's date until after this year's fair, which is 9/21/19 to 9/28/19.

There are a few near the college and interstate 80 but you have to book early for the week of the fair. Also at the fair they have a section where you can park and stay if you have a camper.

I believe the one near the grandstand ticket office is on fifth street.

They are located just inside one of the gates. When you are parking, ask thr attendant which gate it is in and they will guide you to the correct place to park to make it easier. I am not sure I ever paid attention to which gate I come in or I would be able to tell you.

Stand don't open till 10 but there are couple food stands that open at 7 for breakfast and all call around 10 pm
